Important Duties & Responsibilities:
- To ascertain customer demand, possible sales volumes, and the impact of competitors’ operations on sales, study market research and trends.
- Establish the goods and services to be sold, and put price and credit policies in place.
- Organize personnel and assign tasks.
- Plan, oversee, and assess the operations of businesses involved in wholesale and retail sales, or the departments within such businesses.
- Find, pick, and get products for resale.
- Create and put into action marketing strategies.
- Create budgets and approve spending.
- Establish the number of employees needed, then hire them or supervise their hiring.
